ECOTAB Building Commission Training educates its candidates to become a qualified professional in Building Commissioning by understanding what Building Commissioning means, the need for Building Commissioning, the fundamental concepts, the design intent, the preliminary commissioning plan, commissioning specifications, etc.

The training will also provide hands-on training to become a testing specialist through Testing, Adjusting and Balancing techniques, calibrating controls, warranty, energy use, indoor environment quality, etc.

The other key aspect of training is about construction observations, documentation, attending meetings, reviews, continuous testing process and operations and maintenance.

The training also imparts knowledge of re-commissioning including tune-ups, review and update of benchmarks, communication, trends vs original intent of usage, etc.
